The World Series of Poker (WSOP) began a new series of online Circuit Events in 2021. The plan is to host 13 online series throughout the year, once each month plus a championship event. During that time, more than 180 gold rings will be awarded.

Just 372 days ago, Adam Friedman won his second World Series of Poker gold bracelet in the 2018 WSOP Event #18: $10,000 Dealer's Choice, and now he joins the elusive club of back-to-back winners after he successfully defended his title to win the 2019 WSOP Event #35: $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship for $312,417 and his third career WSOP.
With the first month of the year coming to an end, so did the WSOP Circuit January Super Series, which catered to a combined 8,653 entrants and awarded $3,080,707 over its 18 events.
Among the recognizable names to capture rings were Toby 'DustPistons' Lewis, Daniel 'centrfieldr' Lupo, Katie 'azulciel' Stone, Alexander 'jinyang' Butcher, Jasthi 'vkjasthi' Kumar, and Chris 'Robotbob47' Moorman, who actually defeated his wife in heads-up play to get the job done.
Meanwhile, New Jersey pro Daniel “juice” Buzgon topped the Player of the Month Leaderboard with 88.84 points (“gldude” was second with 70.46), meaning he earned a spot in the $250,000 WSOP Online Circuit Championship to be held later this year
